Ingredients:

  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Aroma Blends - Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or chunks

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Your Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare the Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder. Set aside.

  3. Cream the Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Add Eggs and Vanilla
Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.

  5. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix the dough.

  6. Fold in the White Chocolate
Gently fold in the white chocolate chips or chunks, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

  7. Scoop and Bake
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, divide the dough into 12-14 portions and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing each portion about 2 inches apart. For an extra touch, press a few more white chocolate chips on top of each cookie.

  8. Bake
Bake the cookies for about 11 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers should still be soft.

  9. Cool and Enjoy
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
